Little Things

Thank You, Lord, for little things
That penetrate our lives;
For little ants in sandy hills
And little bees in hives.

For tiny, spotted ladybugs
Who fly on fairy wings;
For a single perfect rosebud
And the memories it brings.

Thank You, too, for a baby's hand
With tiny fingers curled;
For all the saucy girls and boys
Scattered through the world.

For a cozy nest of robin's eggs,
And puppies soft and warm
For a small and humble cottage
That shelters us from harm.

For all the little blessings
That You grant us day by day,
Give us thankful hearts, and help us
Share with those along the way.
