Precious Noelle Kristen

God is so amazing how He works in peoples' lives....I have happily known David and Bethany since pre-engagement, to their engagement, from early marriage to pregnancy and now their nine months of waiting has come to fruition with a beautiful baby girl....Noelle Kristen. Now, I'm one of those people that think pretty much every baby is gorgeous because it's overwhelming to see the splendor of God's creation in such a little being....but seriously Noelle is BEAUTIFUL!!!! She's just the right size and she's the sweetest shade of pink. :)

The midwife, Mrs. Martha Deming, who is absolutely darling!!! She came to give them "going home" instructions and she really is the sweetest thing...well...besides Noelle that is! ;D

David is just a wee bit proud of her...He said at one point, "Okay Allix, that's enough pictures....well, maybe not. Just keep taking them...and send me EVERYONE even the bad ones!" ;D

Bethany is an AWESOME mom already!! Seriously...the midwife said she did amazing during labor....Two thumbs way up Bethany!! :D

 I pray that God will bless her life and that the whole nine yards of raising her will be nothing short of a wonderful adventure. :D Love you guys! ♥

Lucas {Just Because} and some wonderful news....:D

So here is my cousin Lucas....He really is a stinker....a mighty cute stinker though!! ;D And his Mommy and Daddy had something wonderful to show us last night....Lucas's new baby sibling's very first picture! :) :) :) I guess when I said "some wonderful news" I meant that twofold....Number one---Hooray for a new cousin on the way!! And Number two....Hooray for my new camera (Canon EOS Rebel T2i) that I saved up for BY MYSELF and my new AMAZING 50mm lens that my grandmother graciously got me for an early Christmas present.....yep....I'm elated.....just look at these pictures before I loose it from excitedness ;D 

P.S. Oh and because I am horrible at organization...I'm throwing in a new Scripture picture because there's no where else to stick it really :D

A New Poem about Sweet Truth!!!

A Captive of Grace, a Bondservant of Christ

Years I was shackled

Blind and depraved

Thinking it was more of the world

That I craved

The rope of deceit

Held me fast in my sin

 My transgressions kept me

Bound from within

The prison guard, Satan

Had one purpose and goal

To keep me clueless and comfortable

Until the demise of my soul

All the while I imagined

That freedom was mine

Though now I know Truth

I was sin’s slave the whole time

When I realized that I

Was caught in death’s pit

I pretended the fire of Christ

In my heart was now lit

I went through the motions

Dotted i’s, crossed the t’s

Thinking now, by my works

I was happy and free

But self-righteousness enslaves

Just as fiercely as sins

I thought I’d escaped

Yet, ‘twas a new cell I was in

Would you believe it was when

Humbled now to the ground

I had but to look up

And there Jesus I found

He plucked me out of that misery

All tied up in doubt

And He showed me what freedom

Is really about

He gave me peace

And sweet liberty

For once in my life

I actually felt free

But believe it or not

I’m a shackled slave still

Though now I am joyful

No resentment I feel

For I’m a bondservant of Christ

Held fast, deep in His love

Forever I’ll be His blessed prisoner
