Apple juice or orange juice? Orange juice....well and apple juice....it depends on what I feel like at the moment ;D

What was your favorite childhood television program?  OH MAN! Sesame Street, Teletubbies, Arthur, Clifford, Barney, Looney Toons, Tom and Jerry.....AHHHH!!! Too many to choose from!!! 

Are you a collector of anything? I've kinda become a collector of turtles by accident. You tell people you like turtles and everyone will buy you anything that even resembles one ;D

What is usually your first thought when you wake up? It's morning???....already???.....oh boy....

What do you think about right before falling asleep? My mind is usually going 90-to-nothin' about EVERYTHING....it takes me forever to go to sleep :D

What's your favorite color? GREEN!!!! :D

Have any bad habits? Correction....I have many bad habits.....

Are you a mostly clean or messy person? I myself try to stay mostly clean...as for my room.....it tries not to be too terribly messy. ;D

What's your favorite song at the moment? What Wondrous Love is This sung by Jadin Lavik!!!!....I just recently discovered it through a friend and it is my new happy song at the moment!!! :D

What's your favorite thing to do on a Saturday night? Watching a movie is always fun but we tend to do that on Friday....we get in bed early to prepare for church...but every once in a blue moon I spend the night with a friend. That's always fun of course! :D

What's your favorite thing to do on Sunday afternoon? I always have the desire to take a-one-of-kind-wonderfully-needed-Sunday-afternoon-nap....but I usually don't :P If I do manage to get a nap like that I am overjoyed!!!!!! Otherwise I practice hymns on the piano. :)

Have any hidden talents? Course not....remember the man in the Bible that hid his talents....why would  I hide mine?! ;)

What would be your dream job? Being a Godly wife and mother would be a DREAM COME TRUE!! <3 

Name one thing not many people know about you? I sucked my thumb until I was seven or nine (can't remember exactly)....it's true :)

If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to? Hmmm.....I'm okie dokie with my name right now. Sometimes I don't like that when people first see my name they don't know if I'm a boy or girl so I might want to change it to Alexis...but NOT Alexandria. 

What is your favorite pizza topping? DON'T DO THAT TO ME!!!! FAVORITE PIZZA TOPPINGS CANNOT BE NARROWED DOWN TO ONE!!! Pepperoni, Ham & Pineapple, Cheese, Fajita Chicken with Grilled Bell Peppers and Onions...AAHHH! Pizza is the greatest :)

What song(s) do you sing most often in the shower? Anything and everything that pops into my head :D Usually what I've been listening to or have stuck in my head.

What is your favorite Christmas movie? The Christmas Story :) Well...I would say Elf but I watch that movie year-round and LOVE IT! 

Do you cry at movies? YES! And when I start to cry at sad parts I'm thinking, "IT'S JUST A MOVIE!! IT'S NOT REAL!!! WHY AM I CRYING??!?!" But I can't help it :')

Do you play an instrument? Yep....I play the piano...or attempt to at least :)

What music are you listening to right now? My Christmas blog playlist music!! :D

What was the last good movie you watched? I just watched the two first Peanuts movies....with Charlie Brown and Snoopy, you know. They are GREAT! :D 

What were you doing at midnight last night? Either sleeping or trying to fall asleep....I was in bed, I know that much. :)

What is the last thing you dreamed about that you remember? You put me on the spot!! Now I can't think of anything!!! :P Whatever I dreamed last was probably CRAZY! My dreams never make any sense! ;D lol

Kelsey Layne

So I have this cousin....her name is Kelsey. She's one of those folks that are totally and completely unique. Nobody else could possibly be anything like Kelsey. She dances to the beat of her own drummer. Her birth, in my book, was a pretty big deal seeing as though she didn't come alone. That's right, she is a fraternal twin. Twelve years ago our family grew by four feet when Tyler Lee and Kelsey Layne came into the world. They were born on the twelfth of August, on the twelfth anniversary of the day their parents met, their combined weight was twelve pounds and now they are twelve years old. :D

Some things worth saying about Kelsey.....

1.) She's always been extremely flexible and athletic...unlike her older cousin :P

2.) Some of the faces she makes.....I could have never imagined even in my wildest dreams....they are purty crazy from time to time ;D

3.) And yet...She's gorgeous!! Soooo....would anybody like to tell me what happened to MY BABY KELSEY!?!?! She has been replaced with this amazingly beautiful preteen...SCARY!!!!

Seriously...her eyes!!!!

This is her twin brother Tyler that is growing up just as fast...sadness!!

These kids have never seemed like my cousins....We could've sworn that we were brother and sisters. ;) Even though they have always lived in a far away land called Austin, Texas and we only see each other about 4 times a year... :(

It was nice to see them for Thanksgiving. :) And we shall meet again at Christmas! :D

Wonderful Friends....God is Good and I am Thankful!! :D

For Thanksgiving weekend I thought I would post some pictures of something I am DAILY thankful for....GODLY FRIENDS!!!! Friends are not just for laughing, smiling, and goofing off with...although they are great for that too ;D...they really are essential for encouraging, building up, and comforting you! These friends have helped me in so many ways....they continue to help me in so many ways. And all the glory for these wondrous friends go to my Great God who is gracious enough to give his children good gifts. :) <3

I and My Horse are One

Sadly I don't have a horse but a dear friend of mine, Susanna, does. And I just felt like writing this for her and her beautiful horse Jeb. :)

When a radiant pasture fills my eyes

With wildflowers and grasses tall

Beneath the vibrant Texas sky

I feel an urge, a pleading call

An urge to ride through fields so lush

Behind me a hear a familiar sound

I feel the slightest, loving push

I smile as I turn around

There stands my friend, loyal and true

He wants me to ride too of course

Anytime I want, he wants to go too

My beautiful darling horse

I feel at home the minute I mount him

And stroke his red-brown neck

I can’t imagine being without him

As I give his sides a gentle kick

At once, we’re off; my heart is filled

With exhilaration, excitement, glee

He runs so fast it scarce seems real

It’s like we’re flying – swift and free

When we’re together, we’re connected

It’s as if I’m running too

By each other’s spirit we’re infected

In golden fields ‘neath skies of blue

I’m uplifted, cheered, and free of care

Feeling his energy through the reins

The wind rushing through my hair

Is blowing through his mane

Our love is deep, our friendship sweet

As we ride through the glow of the sun

Precious Noelle Kristen

God is so amazing how He works in peoples' lives....I have happily known David and Bethany since pre-engagement, to their engagement, from early marriage to pregnancy and now their nine months of waiting has come to fruition with a beautiful baby girl....Noelle Kristen. Now, I'm one of those people that think pretty much every baby is gorgeous because it's overwhelming to see the splendor of God's creation in such a little being....but seriously Noelle is BEAUTIFUL!!!! She's just the right size and she's the sweetest shade of pink. :)

The midwife, Mrs. Martha Deming, who is absolutely darling!!! She came to give them "going home" instructions and she really is the sweetest thing...well...besides Noelle that is! ;D

David is just a wee bit proud of her...He said at one point, "Okay Allix, that's enough pictures....well, maybe not. Just keep taking them...and send me EVERYONE even the bad ones!" ;D

The happy little family that just grew by two feet :D

Bethany is an AWESOME mom already!! Seriously...the midwife said she did amazing during labor....Two thumbs way up Bethany!! :D

 I pray that God will bless her life and that the whole nine yards of raising her will be nothing short of a wonderful adventure. :D Love you guys! ♥
